GREAT PLANES WOODSHOP

My friend Keith rebuilds vintage electronics and wanted some solid hardwood cases for a killer Pioneer SX 3700. I made one with Bird's eye Maple (finished in High Performance polyurethane) and another out of African Mahogany (finished in Tung Oil). The tops have integrated angled louvers that allow heat to escape. The top is affixed to the metal body with high strength magnets.
